About

What this is, and who it comes from.

This is the writing behind the apps, not marketing for them.

Each essay works on its own. If it happens to explain why one of the apps behaves the way it does, that is the point — but nothing here needs you to download anything.

The format

A pointed line, then a short expansion.

Not a wall of paragraphs. Most pieces run three or four hundred words, because the idea is usually one idea and padding it does not make it truer.

Where it comes from

dyven.tech builds the apps these essays sit beside.

Three of them, each aimed at a different part of the same problem: noticing what is happening, doing something with it, and staying with a goal after the enthusiasm runs out.

On claims

Where an essay leans on research, it says so and links out.

Product docs explain how the apps work; they are never treated as evidence about the world. Anything stated as fact should be traceable to a primary source, and if it cannot be, it is written as an opinion instead.
